Hi.

So.

It's September. I'm at [COLLEGE NAME REDACTED].

I'm currently in MIS class, aka "Learn how to use Word, Excel and Access 2007". I've corrected the professor three times. I will go insane.

Next is History of Modern Civilization. I think I will like this class. I'm a history nerd and the professor is cool in a nerdy way.

Then I have World of Chemistry. It's EXCITING. Last class we learned about small numbers (#*10^-12) and large numbers (#*10^12).

Tomorrow I have Literary Classics. I know many of the works that we'll go over, but the professor is everything I dislike about english teachers.

Next MondayTuesday I have the lab that goes along with the Chemistry class. I haven't had it yet so I don't know what it'll be like, but I'm excited.

Next next Monday I have a vocab quiz in Japanese. I'm taking it at [COMMUNITY COLLEGE] because [COLLEGE NAME] does not offer Japanese as a language. Which is really really dumb because this college has multiple campuses and the other ones offer it. Rawr.

And since my book arrives tonight I'm going to leave class early. I (might) post later and be less... vague.

So. I have time at work.
12:51pm 07/01/2009
  I'm doing some reading on the illustrious Jack Thompson, and I find out that there is much more about the former (hooray!) Florida lawyer than I previously knew about. (All quotes are from the Wikipedia page.)

Lots of text paragraphs, and because maybe you don't care. And that's understandable. )

I'd like to apologize to you guys about falling off the face of the planet. I am alive, and I have news.

A) I have returned to college.
B) I started a new job.
C) No, seriously, a job. Doing tech support.

I'm typing this at work as I spea- type. It's going to take a while for them to realize that I have no idea what I'm doing. You think I'm kidding, but I'm not.

And I'm facing in at the cubicle so I'm paranoid about someone walking by and seeing me type this, so I might type more later.

People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blogs and replace any question that they dislike with a new question formulated by themselves. And LJ cuts are for cool people. )

So. Hi. I'm not quite dead. In fact, I've been working!

Yes, working. As in, a job.

Me.

Three days a week I show up at 7 AM and work until 3 PM making desserts, while on Friday and now Saturday nights I work at night plating the desserts for the customers.

Job Class Change: Level 1 Pastry Chef (Apprentice)!

Yeah, it's kinda random. At my high school reunion everyone was like 'whaaaa?' because I was very much into computers. This is the fifth week that I'll be working, and now I get paid! ...for Friday and Saturday nights only... and it only started last weekend... and I don't know how much... But munnies! Munnies are good!

But not so good? I've gotten burned three times. The reasons I don't want to be a regular chef are 1) it involves knives, 2) it involves fire, and 3) I get nervous with raw meats and am unsure when they are cooked to doneness. And guess what being a pastry chef involves? *cries* (...what level do I gain Immunity to Fire?)

Other than sleeping, playing a little FFCC: Ring of Fates, and watching television, nothing's been going on.

So, the next time we all get together (RIT graduation?), can we play this?

......

It's either that or the Tomb of Horrors drinking game, where every time your character dies you take a drink. (And you die. A lot.)

......

*puppy eyes?*

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me. It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE. When you're finished, post this little paragraph in your journal and be surprised (or mortified) about what people DON'T ACTUALLY remember about you.

I'm going to write paragraphs using song titles from several albums, then you guys guess the album! ...please?

[Soundtrack 1: Why yes, it does seem obvious, doesn't it?]
Mission Start! I was on my way to Mako City for vacation, just Wandering in the Afternoon Sunlight, when I did Encounter a bird with one Flapping Black Wing. After some quick Combat, I rested in The Town that Shut out Light.

[Soundtrack 2: Super-ultra hard! ...mainly because most people haven't played this game.]
I caught a boat at La Mer, but it was Gloomy Sailing until we reached the Seaside Spring. "Ah, the Sparkling Sea! Ah, the Sky!" said I. We watched the Scenery of an Unknown Island until I completed a Decisive Battle against a Corrupted Soul with my Leet Cat Skillz!

[Soundtrack 3: Hee. ^^]
It Happened Late One Evening on the way back, soon after I read A Curious Tale about The Dancing Sprite and some Dancing Animals doing the Meridian Dance. I heard Distant Thunder and watched The Dark Star until the sun rose. I asked the Monarch on the Shore, "Did You See the Sea?"

[Soundtrack 4: And an easy one for last.]
As I took the Rainbow Cruise across the Brinstar Depths on the last leg of my vacation, I ate some Green Greens in the Jungle Garden, then threw a coin with a Fire Emblem on it into the Fountain of Dreams and made a wish that next year I could go to the Temple.

Yesterday noon the phone did ring!
'Twas my father, our family's king;
my mother, down stairs she did spring
and currently her arm's in a sling.

On those stairs she did trip,
down she did tumble and twist;
her poor knee, she (maybe) did chip
and she received a fractured wrist.

As the ambulance was taking her away
my father followed in two ticks;
to his wife he did say,
"I'll send our daughter some pics!"
